“Leschi Lakehouse is a quiet gem. There are walking trails and great local stores and restaurants near the house. You will love all of the personal touches to her place: amazing views, record player with a great assortment of music, heated floors and towel rack, private parking, family games, complimentary drinks, etc. She put a lot of thought into her guest home.
It’s a cozy, quaint house located about 20 min to downtown or whale watching tours, and 1.5 hours to Mount Rainier if you want to take in additional beautiful views. You’re missing out on a great Seattle adventure if you don’t book your stay here.”

“It’s so rare to find an Airbnb these days that actually feels like a home and I cannot say enough good things about my stay at Holly’s place. The special touches really made the place great for working from home and relaxing with my boyfriend. There was a stocked refrigerator, fresh coffee and tea, plenty of warm blankets, multiple TVs, a fun record player and games. Plus the heated bathroom floors! The wifi was fast, the bed was very comfortable and there was a coffee shop and market just a 5 min walk away. And the views of the lake every morning are beautiful.”

“Leschi feels like a charming beach town in the summer and this beautifully appointed home is at the heart of it all. We swam and paddle boarded morning and night, walked to get coffee, wine and groceries at Leschi Market, explored the secret stairs and beautiful historic homes of the area, and enjoyed spectacular views of mount Rainier. So thoughtfully and stylishly appointed. Wonderful library, essential record collection, HEAVENLY bedding. Bathroom and kitchen have gorgeous fixtures. Staying here is a quintessential Seattle experience.”

“Wow! Holly's home is the perfect haven. The location, her recommendations, and the value...there's so much to say. Close to where we needed to be (Seattle U) yet felt like a real vacation! Stunning views (even from the bed)...especially of the sunrise, the moon reflecting on the lake, and the snow-capped mountains. You can tell Holly enjoys hosting; she anticipates just about everything. Not only did we get a fridge stocked with beverages, there was a Band-Aid at-the-ready when I sliced my finger, AND the bathroom floor is heated! My reviews are not usually this long. “Leschi Lakehouse is an absolute gem! It was a stay of a lifetime for my husband and I. It sits directly across from lake Washington with beautiful views of the city and Mt. Rainer. The sunrises were spectacular! The house itself was fully stocked, beautifully decorated and spacious. Holly was extremely responsive and kind. There are also a couple of wonderful restaurants, grocery store, and of course a Starbucks within walking distance. It is also centrally located to visit the city. You’ll be lucky if you grab a few dates in this amazing spot.

The pictures, while they do give a glimpse of what a great stay you're about to have, do not capture all the amazingness you will actually discover. The space is so well appointed and the location is wonderful. There is so much to like, from the record collection, book selection, art, kitchen-ware, etc. it almost makes it tough to go out and enjoy Seattle, but then you look out any window at the beautiful views (even from bed) and realize how close you are to it all and somehow you make it outside. Host was very communicative and even went out of her way to help me find a boat rental. I could go on and on, but don't hesitate if you see an open date, stay here if you can!”

“We had such a great time at Holly’s place. It is beautifully decorated but still comfortable and functional with everything you need. Very clean and organized. It was perfect for working remotely (office setup plus the kitchen table). All with gorgeous views of the lake. They also have a nice hedge and the bedroom is tucked away so you can’t hear the lakeshore street outside. We really liked the walkability to the beaches, grocery store, some restaurants and a coffee shop.”

“Holly’s place is true gem! We absolutely love our stay in her cozy and stylish home. We went to Seattle with our two smaller children to visit family for the holiday and venture the city. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood surrounded by well cared for homes and trees. Most notably about this place is the view of Lake Washington during sunrise and sunsets, it’s truly an experience! It’s so close to the key destination areas by car, usually within the city between 10-15 minutes. The house is well established with all the necessities and thoughtful touches a guest could want. The fridge was even stocked with some beverages to get our stay started and fresh ground coffee. We loved being able to walk every morning around the lake side and to the small little downtown of Leechi, which has a few nice restaurants and a great local market. We truly felt it our home away from home. If you’re considering this to another, there’s no doubt this should be your place!”

“If I could give this place 10 STARS I would! I can't say enough good things about Holly's stunningly renovated boathouse on the edge of Lake Washington. The waterfront view is so peaceful, it's hard to believe you're only a 15 minute drive from the center of Seattle. We worked remotely from here for a few days (confirming strong wifi and a dedicated office area for calls), and loved taking a break each afternoon between Zoom calls to go for a dip in the lake. We also cooked dinners here several nights, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. We will definitely be back again soon”

“We LOVED our stay at Holly's beautiful lake house. It was our favorite of many Airbnb stays. The location is perfect: across from Lake Washington with outstanding views from every room. We had daily dog walks on the lake and through the hills. It was quiet and private. Also well equipped for dinner parties with friends and family. A special treat: a record player and albums! Jazz selections include Thelonious Monk, and Aretha Franklin was a calming influence on our little dogs.
The house was also a great place for both of us to work, allowing my husband to zoom and me to have a quiet reading/writing space at the same time. There was more space than we expected.”

“We have never had such a perfect Airbnb experience and service as we had at Holly’s place. Not only was the property immaculate but every detail was thoughtfully curated and of the highest quality. The surrounding neighborhood was beautiful for walks to local restaurants/bars and morning runs north along the lakeshore. The kitchen had high end appliances and all the equipment and basic ingredients we needed to create a PNW-inspired family dinner without missing our home kitchen. There were small details too, like the vintage Sansui receiver and an eclectic selection of vinyl records that allowed us to listen to some great albums we would never have discovered on our own.”
